What is happening in Gaza is stunning.
And yet, I am not stunned. I’m calloused by the world’s self-immolation.
There will be no cease of fire at this time. There’s too much anger and perceived strategic advantages that unimaginably outweigh the lives overlooked and ended.
But it must be said that this is what leading with anger looks like. Rationalization becomes the name of the game.
And we’re all angry. And over it.
We all have marched in the last few years, for this, that, and the equally meaningful other. We all have skin in the game. And unfortch, the people in charge are too into making a buck playing war games.
