The Miami Collective

When I was very young (OK…younger), I heard the siren song of Miami.

Miami. You know, where the heat is on.

I started to visit the Magic City as a child, but I started to get to know it as a teen through the magic of the movies.

Movies, Miami movies, back when movies where allowed simply to be movies, they served the glimpses del paraiso with intrigue. They gave action, drama, allure. And they were are party. All of which led me to give chase to the 305.

Miami Rhapsody > Bad Boys > Fair Game > The Birdcage

I actually had pizza from the Ocean Drive pizzeria from which Cindy Crawford orders in Fair Game, and I covered the premiere of a later-era-Will Smith Will Smith movie (Seven Pounds) down in South Miami.
