AKA Jane Roe, FX
Norma McCorvey, AKA Jane Roe, will share her thoughts on her own life this summer via FX

So the FX Networks already have proven that they know drama, with everything from the American Crime Story and American Horror Story franchises and the anthological Fargo to the cult fave You’re the Worst.

Now, they’re gonna show us how they do docs.

FX is set to premiere AKA Jane Roe, its first documentary feature, about Norma McCorvey, a.k.a. Jane Roe from the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case that ruled that the Constitution of the United States shall protect a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction (meaning their right to choose).

The documentary will premiere on FX on May 22, hitting hulu the morning after, and will feature McCorvey’s final series of interviews prior to her death in 2017 and reveal the unvarnished truth behind her journey from pro-choice to pro-life and beyond – in what she calls her “deathbed confession.”

What…a timely story to tell. And from the Roe’s mouth, no less.
