The dinosaurs are going global in 2022.
You know Jurassic World: Dominion ain’t titled Jurassic World: Dominion for nothin’. The dinos got out at the end of the last one, after their kingdom fell. And it’s their planet now. Again.
Mamoudou Athie joins Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and the original blockbuster trio Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum in this, the third movie of the second trilogy. Fingers crossed we get to enjoy this one come June 10 up on the big screen, like always.
For now, though, we have “The Prologue,” a new featurette helmed by Jurassic World mastermind co-writer and director Colin Trevorrow, that is not actually in the thing but stands as separate, original content set 65 million years meant to serve as the pre-human beginning of a story that will be continued in theaters next summer. Got that? No? Well, get this: Let’s #VaccinateOurWorld, already, so that everyone on Earth can enjoy, too.)

Something to look forward to, which I do…look forward to it…as well as to how they continue the story beyond Jurassic World: Dominion. Minis and limited series could be great.
