Scream, Scream, Scream, You Scream, I Scream, We Scream, Scream!

That’s right: Scream 7 is coming. Directed by the original writer, who launched the entire franchise back in 1996, Kevin Williamson. (R.I.P. Wes Craven.)

Oh, and you know how Neve Campbell wasn’t in the last one (the second entry in a new trilogy that wouldn’t be/Justice for Melissa Barrera)? That may be because the old Sidney Prescott can’t come to the phone right now.

Why?

’Cause she goes by Sidney Evans now.

Look what dem Ghostfaces made her do. Scream 3 Throwback Alert! (With a twist.)

Indeed, Sidney’s all grown up in part seven, (probably) still(?) married to Mark from part three (although played by someone else in this installment), and now her daughter Tatum (Isabel May) is the target of the Ghostface du jour, who may or may not be played by an OG baddie we all thought was dead, no?

And Courteney Cox is back and looking bitchier than ever.

So there on opening night come Feb. 27.
