Llegó el Otoño

Lección anticipada sí ayuda gente…. Bajada de los Baños, Barranco, Lima, Peru, 12.12.17

Fall is here. Ya llegó el otoño – o la primavera, dependiendo de dónde estén.

Tengan cuidado; el COVID-19 sigue por todos lados. 🙌🏽😷👍🏽

Creo que lo de las máscaras ya se calmó un poco (más vale prevenir que lamentar, after all), porque people were not getting the message that masks are like the easiest, most courteous and preventive thing each of us can do to keep the novel coronavirus from spreading all over the place all over again (and simultaneously show some respect for the situation).

Ya llega el Mes Morado. No se descuiden. The storm is inside of us, but so is the calm. Este es el momento para desarrollar mejores hábitos, costumbres, y tradiciones que, al fin y al cabo resultan siendo mucho más saludables para nosotros. Charity begins at home, con une misme.

Llegó el otoño. Don’t fall.

Tengan cuidado con el corazón, con las alas y con todo lo demás. Alerta. Mírala, míralo. Miremosnos.

Mírate. Mueve la cabeza. Y piensa con el corazón.

We think with our hearts, we change the world. The writing was on the wall all along.

I saw this beautiful mural in Lima at the end of 2017 and clearly, I caught one of the little signs that the Light sends us and that I heard Oprah talk about on a podcast the other day…. A year and a half ago, I took myself back to therapy, (re)committed to yoga, and double-downed on this thing called writing, which has continued to lead me to something else. (Crazy, I know.)

Llegó el otoño. Pasémosla mejor.
