For now, I try.
Fucking P!NK knows. She knew back then in 2000, when she first burst onto the scene. We are billions of beautiful hearts, indeed. And we can also be so missundaztood.
Twice now I’ve been thisclose to seeing her live. I sooo shoulda gone to see her play at Club Revolution in Fort Lauderdale during the I’m Not Dead era (what – it was a Monday night, and I had work in the morning); and why we didn’t get it to see her in the Bay Area the last few years puzzles me to this day. Third time will the post-pandemic charm, I’m sure of it.
For now, there’s a doc.
It’s titled P!NK: All I Know So Far. The Greatest Showman’s Michael Gracey directed this behind-the-scenes pass to the Grammy winner’s record-breaking 2019 “Beautiful Trauma World Tour.” And it’s premiering worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on May 21.
The documentary will show us P!NK among her chosen family, as a mom, a wife, a boss, and a performer. Mixing footage from the road, special interviews, as well as personal effects, Gracey offers us a peek behind the curtain of the circus that P!NK calls life.
