Red Dot marks the Spectrum of art fairs in Miami coming up this 2021 season.
I…am not entirely sure about my wordplay up above, but back down here, closer to the truth, yeah, it looks and sounds like the party is back on – not that it ever wasn’t – come Baseltimes next month, Miamis.
Following a two-year COVID-19-induced hiatus, the Magic City is coming out of its pandecoma just in time for Miami Art Week 2021, hashtag, Dec. 1-5. As such and such as, Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami will return to Mana Wynwood to offer guests and exhibitors alike “Two Fairs Under One Roof.” The fairs will cover more than 100,000 square feet of indoor exhibition, all within walking distance of the Wynwood Arts District’s Ittest restaurants, bars, and shops😷
Celebrating its 11th edition, Spectrum will present special programs and site-specific exhibitions that showcase Miami’s thriving art landscape, informed by the 2021 curatorial theme, [DOUBLE TAKE]. Art creates a deeper awareness of the experience of seeing. It asks you to pay attention, slow down. It inspires viewers to look closer. Spectrum promises to showcase independent career artists, studios, and younger galleries that are pushing the boundaries in surprising and significant ways, encouraging us to take a closer look.

Meanwhile, Red Dot will explore [REVEAL] as its theme this season. As we all know, artists pursue truth and attempt to reveal what they discover, uncovering truths about how the world works, about humanity, about themselves. Their art is a tool, a way of investigating the world and ourselves. Now in its 16th year as a curated gallery-only contemporary art fair, Red Dot will showcase galleries from around the world that present artists who are helping us frame a better picture of our human nature and discover what art reveals about you, about us.
Artists are here to disturb the peace, don’t you know, don’t you know.
Art will save your life.
And art fairs, 305-style, are back, baby.
Both Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami shall be held next to each other in Mana Wynwood at 2217 N.W. 5th Ave. (at N.W. 22nd Street).
All tickets are digital and👏🏽must👏🏽be purchased👉🏽online. Look it up.
