You can delete Facebook. Just like Twitter.
It is doable.
You will survive.
We managed for a long, much more humane time without it, without social media.
And don’t you know, don’t you know, you might like, thrive without it. We just might make it anew without it, as a society and as a culture of modern souls.
Think about it.
Fuck dem techies. They destroyed San Francisco, by making its people – and the citizens of the world – insulate (they killed the American mall; they stupefied you, yours, and me; and they led us away from the strength of community and down a toxic rabbit hole of fear…), then had the balls to complain, when the city became desolate, a shadow of itself. The life and creativity didn’t get sucked out of the City by the Bay – Big Tech crushed it, decimated it. For profit. Knowingly. Time and time again.
Facebook doesn’t give two shits about you, and you shouldn’t give them any more of your time or energy. If your people want to keep in touch, they will find a way. And so will you.
