A year-ish, give or take…depending on where you are, since the global COVID-19 pandemic thrust humanity into a long season of self-isolation and systems-shocking quarantine, America has lost more than 500,000 people to the novel coronavirus.
More than half a million humans gone, only in the United States of America. The global death toll is approximately 2.47 million, from about 112 million cases.
And to think we wasted time and energy quarreling about wearing masks.
I shall trust we have learned.
With gratitude we carry on.
