Tradiciones Peruano-Americanas, Martin Haro
Find yourselves a neighborhood Peruvian store and restaurant, stat

I’m not a doctor, and I don’t play one on TV, but I am going to recommend that y’all find yourselves a neighborhood Peruvian store. Stat. And restaurant, too. Double-stat. (@qusqobistro in #LosAngeles, #ChalánontheBeach in #MiamiBeach, and @limonrotisserie here in town. Provecho.) You’re only as healthy as your diet and your traditions, and that’s the ☕️. And this is the herbal tea to which I turn when I want to boost my system with something warm and soothing. We call tea time “lonche” in #Lima, so around 17:30-18:00 (that’s a little after 4:20, between 5:30 and 6), we usually gather ’round the family table with whomever is around and have a tea…or warm chocolate milk…o una taza de quaker con pan (francés…de yema…o un káiser) de la panadería de la esquina or from el panadero (unfortunately, not many panaderos left these days, I don’t think…). And we’d talk, and we’d laugh. Best medicine for a reason. #🇵🇪❌🇺🇸❌🌴❌🌉 #KingofCups Link in bio for more! 🙏🏽
